Lindencorso is located in a key part of Berlin, on the intersection between two Friedrichstrasse and Unter den Linden, with the top floors directly overlooking the Brandenburg Gate. The building, home to the prestigious Volkswagen showroom, was designed by architect Christoph Mäckler: its façade is marked by an original contrast between the charm of natural hand-carved stone and the modern aluminium and steel windows.

A historic location, in 1877 the Café Bauer, Berlin’s first Viennese style café, was built. Completely destroyed during the Second World War, it was replaced by a building complex specialising in food, which was the most popular meeting place in East Berlin during the Cold War. It was demolished in 1993, and the current building erected in its place.
